Can't believe I haven't worked on this before!! I've stopped translating songs for a bit in order to work on bigger projects, but I've missed this! I think my Japanese has really improved since it takes me a lot less time to absorb the lyrics, hehe. Enjoy!

NOTES:

1. Though I try to make the translations as flow-y as possible, this song has a lot of ~poetics to it and it isn't as straightforward as other songs I've translated. So like english songs, there's a lot of ~poetic imagery involved like a swing swaying and such. 

2. I also took some creative license with the first lines of each verse. They don't expressly say "everybody" wants to do something, but the tone kind of implies it. Still, this can be translated as "you" or "I" wanting something, but I think the idea that it's something everyone strives for captures the tone best.

3. I put "ikite miyou" as "let's try and live it to the fullest," though it more literally wouldn't have "to the fullest" there, just for emphasis.
