The translations in this blog are all original translations made by myself (unless otherwise stated as a collaboration or the work of more people). They are not meant to be treated as official translations in any capacity.

On a personal level, I am doing this as a way to continue studying Japanese -- and in the case of anime songs, it's also so I can put meaning behind the songs I've memorized and kept in my head and my heart for the past x years. These are meant as educational exercises for myself, so I don't claim my translations to be 100% accurate all the time, though I do go to the effort to make sure they are as correct as I can make them. If you spot any errors, feel free to point them out.

Each translation reflects my grasp of the Japanese language as it is used in the song at the time I translated it, so there may be stylistic changes as I go on. I plan to include notes where I can, but this might not happen for all translations.

I will also try to include a video or streaming version of the song in each post. These videos/streams are never my own unless otherwise stated. No copyright infringement is meant and no money is being made on my end.
